Resources about Photographer’s Rights

As a photographer, you always need to know what your rights are in today’s security and legal focused world. Ever since the Carlos Miller incident in Florida and the photographer ID cards hubbub in the UK, this has been an active topic on the message boards and blogs.

Today I came across a great listing of Photographers Rights and Photography Privacy Advice on the Digital Photography School blog. They list and link to a number of resources of legal advice for photographers from the United States as well as the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. The Photographer’s Rights Card in the US link is extremely useful (I hadn’t heard of that book before but will be picking up a copy soon).

This is such an important topic for all photographers and always such a heated topic that I’m surprised someone hasn’t put together a maintained list of resources on this topic…
