Gorgeous image Greg – beautiful light. I can’t tell you how many times I have tried to be in the right place at the right time for a dark stormy sky and sunlit foreground. To have a rainbow as well, with a pretty cool mine – well I would think that is just asking for too much.

Thanks Mark. It was one of the classic moments where it started to rain and all the tourist start running for cover. Meanwhile, I’m running out into the open looking for the rainbow and lining up my photograph. I always find it funny how people (and some photographers) are afraid of the elements…it’s what makes for the most interesting photos.
