This past week has been Zion Week for me…family life with the new addition has finally settled down into a better rhythm (aka, Caitlin is mostly sleeping thru the night!) and I’ve been able to work through some backlog photo processing.  There is something to be said for processing photos from winter during a summer hot spell.  I now have a Zion National Park collection up in the archive from my visit to Zion last winter.

The above photo is one of my favorites from the trip.  The Pulpit is a pair of rock towers located near the end of Zion Canyon. Due to the time of year, I was able to capture the rocks with a rather unique angle of light on them and the Cottonwood trees at their base. For perspective, the wall of rock in the background is the canyon wall of Zion Canyon.

I hope you enjoy some of the photos that I created from my trip to Zion. I’m looking forward to reading your comments.

Fine Art prints are available directly from the archive using the “Purchase Prints” button.

  1. Congrats Greg. Sounds like quite a feat to catch up on the backlog while having a newborn.

Saying that I’ve caught up might be claiming early victory. Just caught up on one project folder…many more to go unfortunately.
