latoga photo walks San Francisco

San Francisco from Pedestrian Pier

Thanks to an upcoming technology trade show happening here in San Francisco, that I’m involved with from my day job, I created a number of photowalk maps for visiting photographers.  The latoga photo walks San Francisco is a file that you can download and import into Google Earth running on your computer.  You can then select the different photowalks to view a highlighted map and details for the walk (including total distance).  I have also taken an initial attempt to highlight areas of photographic interest along each photowalk.  My goal was to be able to expose a few hidden gems on each walk, something that a visitor may not have found on their own.

Since this first version was focused on walks for a technology conference taking place at the San Francisco convention center, all the walks start and end at Moscone Center. Feel free to adapt as needed for your own visit to San Francisco.

I’m looking forward to hearing your feedback on these photo walks!

Note: the version number (v20090827) is the date that this specific version of the latoga photo walks was launch.   As I update these walks, the number (and folder name in Google Earth) will update appropriately.
