Art and This American Life

A few days ago, I posted What’s the View from Your Studio?, on the FocalPower blog. I was reviewing the book View From the Studio Door by Ted Orland. The next day, the universe sent me a subtle message. I was in the car listening to NPR when This American Life came on with a program titled Blame it on Art.

As I had spent the weekend reading Ted Orland’s book, having this additional view of Art in America was very timely. If you consider yourself an artist in any sense, take the time to listen to this episode. I think you will find a number of the stories very enlightening and amusing…
