Heading North to Redwoods
Posted by latoga | Filed under Miscellaneous
Tomorrow morning the wife and I are heading north to Humboldt Redwoods State Park for a long weekend of camping, hiking, and getting back in touch with nature (and for me the camera). Personally, nothing beats the zen of landscape photography! And while I have driven through this area a couple times, it has always been on my list of places to stop in and explore more.
Not to say that I haven’t been doing any shooting as of late, just been too busy on all fronts to do much post processing. This past weekend I helped the Mrs out with a substantial wedding that she did the flowers for (she is a floral designer working on starting her own business). Typically this means that I’m the official photographer to help her build her portfolio, thought this time I got drafted into more logistics and setup as well. Not only did this cut into the time I had to photograph her creations, but it also made for a long holiday weekend with very little holiday; something we are both looking forward to catching up on this weekend.
So, I’ll be offline (and off the grid) for most of the weekend and hope to have some interesting stories to share next week. Until then, check out the latest post over at EpicEdits where I’m quoted as one of the Lightroom Users Address Concerns with the Software.
