Down, Up, Down, Up-ish, Down, Up again….that was the fun that the Flickr Ops team was having yesterday and this morning. A source of mine at Yahoo confirmed that the whole team was in all weekend long to get the site backup after this weekend’s outage.

Side Blur: Stay tuned for an announcement this week between Apple and Yahoo (Flickr related maybe? Something related to this weekend’s downtime?). There is some sort of partnership that they will be announcing this week at MacWorld. I was originally supposed to be in Boston the first part of this week, but since that trip got cut short looks like I’ll be able to make it MacWorld after all…more on the announcement soon!
