This past Saturday, I happened to be in San Francisco to catch the arrival of Airship Venture’s Zeppelin to the Bay Area. I was able to make it to Crissy Field to just catch the Airship arriving over the Golden Gate Bridge. Unfortunately, from a photographic perspective, there was just a bit of marine layer in place which cases less than perfect photographic conditions. I was able to grab the above photos of the airship before it headed on down the Bay to Moffett Field for it’s official arrival ceremony.
Nice captures Greg. When I read about the news I was bummed I missed out on the photo opportunity. Great timing to capture the zeppelin over the golden gate.

@ Jim Goldstein:
Thanks! Ideally, it would be best to be up high with a longer lens to capture the Zeppelin over the city. I wanted to be in the Marin Headlands, but other events for the day prevented me from making it over there…
I’m sure you’ll have other chances to catch it in the sky…

Beautiful series, the first image is my pick in the series. And I also liked the way you created a small slideshow to flip through the images
