A small mirrorless camera and the relaxing of the restrictions on personally electronics during take off and landings gives you the chance to never miss a sunset (as long as you’re in a window seat). The way the wing and the cloud creates lines that pull you toward the empty sky or the sunset, depending on how you’re mind is wired, is what made me break out the camera as we were landing at SFO. The scratches on the windows of the airliners is what usually prevents me from publishing many of these photos. Or I spend a lot of time trying to remove the imperfections. But this time, the flare created by those scratches or water droplets add something to the photo for me personally.
