2016 Photo a Day, 52 of 366: Oak Tree on hillside at Twilight

A short 20 minute drive from Silicon Valley (heading east) is the Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve.  in the foothills east of San Jose, the trail head is almost at the crest of the first set of foothills.  With an amazing sunset view of the South Bay Area, it also offers wilderness if you just look east. If you have any interest in nature photography and you live in California, it seems like you eventually start hunting for the perfect loan oak tree photo. This is not my first oak tree photo and I’m sure not my last.
