5 Years of “Wall of Light Horizon”

As I’ve been working thru the processing of the the 2017 Bouquets to Art photos, I’ve come to the realization that after nine years of photographing Bouquets to Art I now have the ability to show how multiple floral designers interpret the same artist/artwork.  So in this post I chose Sean Scully’s Wall of Light Horizon to show 5 years of floral designs inspired by the painting.  Enjoy!

Michael Daigian Designs installation from 2017 Bouquets to Art at the de Young Museum, San Francisco.

Chestnut and Vine Floral Design installation from 2016 Bouquets to Art at the de Young Museum, San Francisco.

City College of San Francisco installation from 2015 Bouquets to Art at the de Young Museum, San Francisco.

The Tompkison Group installation from 2014 Bouquets to Art at the de Young Museum, San Francisco.

Regula’s European Design installation for 2013 Bouquets to Art at the de Young Museum, San Francisco.

This year’s processing of photos is happening a bit slower than normal due to the perfect storm of sickness within the Lato house and the timing of the kid’s spring break. I appreciate the patience of all of this year’s designers as I process the photos from 2017 Bouquets to Art.  I’ll announce when the photos are complete both here on the blog and via my Bouquets to Art newsletter.
