This was taken downtown San Francisco, near the corner of Mission and Spear. These are some decorative lights that are part of the building, but when I looked at the from this angle (I was waiting for another photographer to finish a shot with his medium format camera and exploring the area’s visual attributes) I saw them take on another persona…
