Photo: Sunset at Point Reyes Lighthouse

A rare sunset bathes Point Reyes Lighthouse in golden light. Typically the fog prevents a view like this; if not obscuring the lighthouse all together, then preventing the rays of sunset from reaching the lighthouse as there is usually a high fog bank out at sea.

I like how the stairs leads you into the photo and down to the light house. The stairs and the hill side bathed in sunset help to draw you to the lighthouse. The rare sunset low on the horizon also gives this glowing light to the ocean in the upper right corner.
