2016 Photo a Day, 30 of 366: O’Shaughnessy Dam, Spillway, and Active Jet-Flow Gate

While on the topic of Hetch Hetchy I figured I’d share a photo of O’Shaughnessy Dam from a few years back when the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir was full and one of the Jet-Flow gates and the spillway were active.  This is the view from the north edge of the dam looking downstream of the Tuolumne River.  The flow on the far side of the dam is from one of the three spillway gates being open.  You can see more photos of Hetch Hetchy in the Archive.
