About two miles south of Bellagio, Italy is a small hamlet called Loppia. This hamlet sits on Lake Como and is within easy walking distance from Bellagio. My wife and I were staying at a wonder little hotel, Silvio’s, which was situation right above Loppia. One morning, before sunrise, I got up and explored Loppia. Just as the sun was breaking over the hills above Loppia, beams of light went streaking through the clouds. I happened to be standing on the Loppia’s pier and capture the church silhouetted by the rising sun.
